New pads...naughty me and some business news

Hi everyone...17 followers of my blog I feel very honored :)
I have just added two more photos to my personal cloth pad stash post.....naughty me has bought a few more, oh and I also found some more that i bought a while ago in a box (we just moved house)....Shhh don't tell my husband but i have another 6 coming in the mail :D well its not my fault who could resist cute poodles on a pad ~ poodles i tell ya, they are just too cute~!

On to business news.................. My super sale went really well, I sold a total of gee how many....um about 30 pads which is great.
I was also asked during the sale if I accepted layby, now this is something I had never really considered, but then when I did start to think about it I realised you know this is what would benefit moms ( I mean seriously what mom is going to justify spending up big on herself when all we want to do is please our children and look after their needs first ) and so I am pleased to say 'Platinum panties' now has a layby service!
It is really easy to work with.....it starts with a 10% deposit and then just regular weekly payments *I am pretty flexible so I'm not too fussy with certain amounts every week, just what you can pay really* if you want layby all you have to do is tick the cheque/money order option during checkout to secure your order and state the word layby in the notes to seller and we'll set that up for you :)

New stocks will be being added soon to my store at the cloth pad shop....I've just been really busy and have not had as much time to sew as I would like :( I promise though I will re stock soon! My website has just been restocked so you just might find a new pad there!

wow I have just passed the 300 mark....

Wow I am just excited today....if you look to the left of my blog you will see the count of how many cloth menstrual pads I have sold.....drum roll please I have passed the 300 mark (309 to be exact). My personal pad stash....

And as promised here are the pics of my personal pad stash.....as a pad maker and seller I have been asked quite a few times now what my personal stash looks like....what inspires me and what do i like in a pad....I have only photographed bought pads, i also have a whole heap of pads that i have designed and made myself...... after all I really know my own body, but i didn't put them on here as i feel there is already quite alot of my samples throughout the blog ;)
I buy pads from alot of different makers but I do have a few favorites that work for me and so I usually buy more when i see designs i like..............this is not my entire stash as i think some are in the wash and I have some others on the way in the post.

These two pictures are of my regular flow pads.....I find them great for normal to heavy flow days!




The next two pictures are that of my pantyliner collection....I find these pads to suit my light to normal flow days!

pad swaps/trades and my personal collection

as a cloth pad user myself i am always interested i trying new brands and types of pads so if you would like to do a swap, my pad for yours i am up for the trade.....i prefer pantyliners or light flow pads personally as these seem to get more use in my collection.......and on to my pad stash, have you ever wondered what other womens pad stashs look like, what prints they like, colors, themes......

my pad stash contains alot of different prints, i love flannel topped pads with cute animal designs, i just adore brightley colored pads and anything girly and feminine just sucks me right in......i know that i truly have more pads than i really need in one cycle but who can resist the lure of fabric and style. i have aio ones with a layer of pul for leak protection.....these i like to use on my heay flow days and for nights but i must say my favourite pads would have to be my fleece backed pads, i have never had a leak problem and find they are super soft and flexible to wear. my preference for pads is on the smaller side of the scale i find i dont really have a use for the bigger/longer pads.

New stocks of cloth menstrual pads will be made up soon.....I've just moved house so all of my sewing materials are still sitting around in limbo probably feeling unloved ;)

New store opening.........and a new look website :)

We have been very busy here at Platinum Panties.......firstly we have a new look website, we've tidied it up a little and have made it easier to see and look at - gone is the purple :( (i did love that purple) and in is white which makes for a crisper look and hopefully a bit easier on the eyes. I can say I am now very happy with the new store layout and I think the pads now take centre stage as they should.

Secondly we have a new store on etsy.com.......yippee we are thrilled to be expanding our advertising and audience. I have listed a few pads already so things are up and running and I just cant wait to take my first order.......I am also giving a free pad to the first person who orders from my etsy store so lets hope its you, lol.
